There are two ways to search for courses:
When you search by course Code, Title or Description keyword, Navigator Suite matches your search keyword(s) with words (or word fragments) that appear in either the course Code or course Title.
To search courses by course Code, Title or Description keyword:
NOTE: Keyword searches can be done with either complete words or word fragments. For instance, to search for science courses, you can type either science or the word fragment sci into the Title keyword search box.
TIP: To display all of the courses offered at your institution, leave the Search fields blank and click Search.
To view a course, click on the View icon. This takes you to the Course Details page. Click on the Back button to return to the Course Search page.
To add a course to your course plan, click on the Add to Course Plan icon and select a Term from the drop-down menu.
The course Code, Title or Description keyword search matches your search keyword(s) with words (or word fragments) that appear in either the course Code or Title. If more than one keyword is entered, all of them must appear in either the Code, Title or Description.
You are interested in the philosophy of science. Not all courses about the philosophy of science have both philosophy and science in the Title. However, you know the institution's Code for philosophy to be PHL and it is highly likely that the course would fall under that code. Enter the keyword PHL into the Code field and the word science into the Description field and click Search. Some of the possible results for your institution could be:
